A company can be too big for microfinance and too small for a development bank at the same time. It sits in the middle, and the middle is not served. That is the missing middle, and it is the market we built this company for.

The usual answer is more advice or more grants. We think the answer is capital and the work, sold together, at a price. A company that pays for the work takes it seriously, and so do we.

We make money when our companies grow. That is the whole design.
