Many good companies fail a lending test that was built for somebody else. They are too big for microfinance and too small for the development banks. They make a profit, but they do not yet keep the records that a credit committee needs.

That is an information problem, not a quality problem. So we fix the information first. Our specialists work in the company for 6 to 12 months before we invest. They see the accounts, the customers and the operation from the inside.

By the time we price the risk, we are not guessing. We know the numbers, because we helped to build them. That is why we can say yes when a bank says no.
